Auracle

From Book Four, The Fuel, and Book Five, The Frequency

The frequency of what you watch

Everything you consume becomes you. Paste the words of a song, a film, an episode, a podcast or a news story, and see where they sit on David R. Hawkins' Map of Consciousness: the number, the level, how much of its time is spent above the line of Courage, and where it leaves you.

Read the words

The words are read once and not kept. Subtitle files are weighed by screen time; songs line by line.

The scale every title is read on

Hawkins' Map of Consciousness exactly as he published it in Power vs. Force: his calibrations, levels, emotions and processes. 200, Courage, is the hinge. Below it, every state runs on force; above it, on power.

How a title is read

  1. Only the words. Lyrics, dialogue, a transcript, the text of a story. Never a synopsis or a review.
  2. Cut into passages. A song by line, a film or episode by scene (about a minute of subtitles), a transcript or story by paragraph.
  3. Each passage placed on one level, by what the words express and do, in context. “I'm terrified, but I'm going in anyway” is Courage, not Fear. Passages with no feeling in them are left out.
  4. Weighed by how long each lasts: screen time for subtitles, words for lyrics and text. What you spend the most time inside counts the most.
  5. Averaged the way the scale is built. Hawkins' scale is logarithmic, so the average is taken over logarithms. One line of Joy does not cancel ten lines of Fear.
  6. The work is shown: the share of time at each level, the arc across the running time, where it lands, and a reason for every level it touches.

One honest difference: Hawkins calibrated by muscle testing. This reads words. The levels, numbers, emotions and processes are his, exactly; the way a title is placed on them is a reading of its words, done by an AI reader against a guide Jennifer Brooke Lawless, M.S. signs off, and checked against her own readings. As The Frequency puts it, the scale is held as a teaching model rather than a laboratory measurement.

Low is a location, not a failure. A song of grief or a film full of justified anger can be worth every minute. The number says what the words train; you choose. And the scale is a mirror, never a scoreboard for anyone else.
